THE TCHAT PART DOES NOT WORK. A TICKET IS OPEN ON MITEL SUPPORT BUT THEY DONT SOLVE THE ISSUE !!!! SOFTPHONE IS OK.

Notification Problems

Please address ringer problems, ringer cannot be adjusted and cannot be heard most of the time. Would love to see a feature for offline messages that can be delivered when user comes online, rather than not allowing to send at all.

Not working

App no longer working with iOS 10. Says it cannot connect to server.

Plz Update for iOS

This app worked off and on with the older iOS versions. Mainly had problems staying connected. Now with the iOS10 update it doesnt work at all. Please update the app quickly and work out the connection bugs.

App Does Not Work With iOS10

This app worked well before updating my iPhone to iOS10. Now it does not work at all. Other users I talked to have had the same issues. This app needs to be updated so that it can work on the new iOS.

Work productivity

This app is great for Mitel users with Unified Communicator Advanced!!! So great to finally see this cutting edge functionality on iPhone!

Location services dont work in iOS 6

Love this app, I used the location services to change my status when I walked into the office. After I updated to iOS 6, that feature stopped working. Guess the map change messed that up.

Still needs work

Drains your batter too quickly . Turning off ringer dies not silence app ringer. Notifications of uc server down can not be stopped even though you cancel notifications. Cumulative licenses are much to expensive. Annoying synchronization of contacts happens each time you connect delaying using the app. The good news is using the soft phone in the application when traveling internationally can save allot if money.

Notification quirks

Overall a pretty feature rich app. A few things I found: If you make a change to any of the notification settings, they may not take effect until you kill the app in the multi tasking screen, and then re-open. This should get your settings to work properly. Also, the volume was turned down so low on the soft phone ringer by default that I couldn’t hear it. While at the home screen of the app, you can use the volume rocker to adjust the UCA notification volume (note that the volume pop up says “volume” and not “ringer” like it normally would). Be careful not to turn it all the way up, because just like a desktop Mitel phone, the volume will return to the last setting if you crank it all the way up. When it makes this adjustment on the next call, it kills the ring sound and you will probably not hear it. I just started using it so I cannot speak to the battery consumption yet. Use Notification Center in iOS settings to change how the notifications appear. I prefer the alert over the default banner when it comes to a phone call.

This app as a whole is great except for one feature-you have to listen to your voicemail on speakerphone or headphones only. There is not an option to listen from the earpiece. This very important feature needs to be corrected. Private and personal voicemails cannot be listened to aloud.

Simple, easy, intuitive

Secure IM, Visual Voicemail, Contact Integration, Full Fixed Mobile Convergance and much more. Great app, solid programming makes for a very useful mobile tool. Keep it up Mitel!

Great mobility tool

Very easy to use, I always use it when calling anyone within my company. The presence info and ease of chatting and calling from my mobile is key.

Novelty with lots of bugs - ringer work half the time.

I dont think many people use this because there are a lot of major bugs and refinements that are not worked out yet. This app has been out for nearly 5 years and it seems like it is more of a beta than production ready. Our team is very disappointed. I would recommend waiting for a next major release or try a different system.

Useless

Many issues. 1- soft phone rarely works 2- app does not run in background, and you are required to open the app so it logs in after each crash. Which happens often(as in 4 times a day or more). 3- there is a 3 second lag between the time you start speaking and the time you are heard. Which causes a lot of confusion in conversation. 4- Very low quality sound

COMPLETELY Useless (UPDATED October 5, 2015)

New icon, new colors on same lame design and substandard performance. A tricky way to have a clean slate on reviews. SHAMELESS! --- The app (and the service that comes with it) is absolutely useless. It is clearly designed by engineers, with absolutely no sense of design and user friendliness. They didn’t even bother to use the standard iOS keypad, or its location. Problems with the SOFTPHONE license. 1) Daily notifications that session timed out (sometimes more than once a day). 2) Seldom notifications that “Server is down”. 3) App will only run if its open in the background. 4) When receiving a call, it vibrates just once, and then a lousy shy ringtone rings a few more times. And no, you can’t change the ringtone. Problems with the TELEWORKER license. 1) Answering a call requires you to push the star button “✽” (no logic whatsoever). 2) There is at least a 1-2 second delay, to which the company just lamely says “it’s normal” “its the way it works” (dozens of free VoIP apps have no delay). 3) There are many more glitches that just make it hateful. Bottom line: there is no logic (or a sick one) on how to use the app. All the intuitiveness you love about your iPhone is gone with this app. It just S_CKS big time. I would give it MINUS 5 STARS if possible. (➖) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
